Marigold graduated from Camberwell College of Arts, UAL, in 2020, with a distinction in MA Printmaking. Whether working in print, or paint, her practice is drawing based and intimate - concerned with how best to express the transient nature of being human in all its fragility and vitality. Marigold has a BA in Social Anthropology, which informs this critical way she approaches her subject matter.

Marigold’s educational approach encourages experimentation, material curiosity and the development of individual visual language through hands-on studio practice. Her printmaking practice is mainly in intaglio, carborundum and drypoint processes. She has learnt to embrace the unexpected in printmaking and relish the challenge of collaborating with the unpredictable nature of print. In Painting, Marigold prefers mixed media and using a combination of pastel, paint and charcoal to allow the medium and her mood to lead the way.
